Councils by resident population, business by staff numbers. For councils, one tier is priced today; the bands above it are priced on application while the first councils are scoped.

Every plan is an annual subscription, priced by the month. For a council, the fee covers the whole council: every department, depot, service and contractor, across all ten categories. For a business, it covers every site. There is no charge per category, per site or per report.
Larger councils: tell us your population and the sites and services in play, and we will price the tier with you.
Foundation Members
Free to join in the first 12 months. Save up to $15,000.
The establishment fee is the only up-front cost of Yarta. Foundation Members do not pay it.

What the establishment fee covers
The establishment fee is normally $5,000 to $15,000, depending on the number of sites, categories and streams. It covers scoping, the category and stream list, the baseline year and targets, the method sheet and onboarding: the four weeks that get a customer from first call to live dashboard.
Foundation Members who join in the first 12 months pay none of it. The monthly fee applies from the switch-on date.
What Foundation Members receive
- Establishment fee waived. Scoping, baseline, method sheet and onboarding at no charge.
- Pricing held for the first term. The monthly fee you join at is the fee for the term.
- Input into the method roadmap. Foundation Members are consulted before a method change is published.
- Named as a founding customer. Optional, in the Yarta Method change log.

What is included
Measuring, benchmarking and the roadmap are included. The physical work is not.
Yarta evaluates your data, benchmarks it and tells you what to do next. The work the roadmap recommends is a separate contract with an accredited provider, introduced by Yarta or chosen by you.
Included in the monthly fee
- Yarta Dashboard. Live, for the team that owns the reporting.
- Data entry and evidence grading. Every category entered from your records and graded by Yarta staff.
- Monthly gap email. Per council, or per site for business.
- Yarta Report. Per site or period: the score, the ten categories, the eco standards and the roadmap, with method version and report ID.
- Exports. CSV of every entry, the Yarta Report as a PDF, and the carbon table by scope.
- Benchmarks and the roadmap. Every category against the eco standards and the industry benchmark, with the suggestions by quarter and an accredited provider introduced for each one you book.
- Named Yarta data operator. One person who enters your data and answers for it.
- Onboarding. Switched on in 30 days, at no charge for Foundation Members.
Not included
- The work on the roadmap. Solar, electrification, an organics service, revegetation, a water audit: contracted separately with the accredited provider, whether Yarta introduced them or you already use them. Yarta reports the result either way.
- Offsets or credits. Yarta reports avoided emissions under a stated method. It does not issue offsets or credits.
- Assurance. Yarta is designed to support third-party assurance with evidence, method and exports. It does not provide the assurance itself.

Is there a contract term?
Yes. Yarta is an annual subscription, priced by the month. We set the terms out in writing before you commit to anything.
What happens after 12 months for Foundation Members?
The monthly fee continues as before. No establishment fee is ever charged to a Foundation Member, in year two or later.
Can we start with a few categories?
Yes. Start with the categories you hold data for, energy, fleet and waste for most organisations, then add water, land, nature and community as the records come together. A category with no data is marked "not reported" and left out of the score. The monthly fee does not change when categories or sites are added.
Do you charge per report?
No. Reports, exports, benchmarks and the roadmap are included in the subscription. There is no charge per site or per report. Provider introductions carry no fee from Yarta.
