Measure. Understand. Report. Improve. Shaping Country for tomorrow. The YARTA story

How it works

From your data to a headline number, and a roadmap.

Enter the figures you already hold, in a question set shaped for your industry. Yarta verifies them, grades the evidence and moves your dashboard. Your report issues at the end of the period, with the roadmap to improvement.

01

The loop

Six steps. One of them is yours.

You enter the figures. Yarta does the checking, the grading and the calculating. The loop runs every period, and closes when the report issues with its roadmap.

  1. Onboard

Thirty days. Yarta agrees your categories, your sites, your targets and your baseline year with you, and issues the method sheet that states how each one will be counted. Nothing is calculated until the method sheet is agreed.

  2. Enter your figures

Fuel, electricity, gas, water, waste by stream and the registers, from the bills and reports you already hold, for the whole organisation or site by site. Your industry's question set asks only for what applies to you.

  3. Yarta verifies and grades

An analyst checks every figure against your earlier months and the benchmarks and asks if something looks off. Every figure carries an evidence grade, and any attached bill or docket lifts it, so a number on your dashboard can be traced back to the record it came from.

  4. Your dashboard moves

As the data arrives. Every tile recalculates: the ten category scores, the Yindyamarra Score, where you could be at the eco standards, and the emissions figures: your inventory by scope and, beside it, the avoided emissions.

  5. Fill in the gaps

Once a month an automated email lists what Yarta still needs for the period, by category. You enter it, or say it does not exist. A category with no data is marked "not reported" and left out of the score, never guessed.

  6. Report issues, with the roadmap

Monthly, quarterly or annual, to suit your reporting cycle. The report states every figure with the method version it was calculated under, pinned so the number can be reproduced later, and closes with the roadmap to improvement: the score at the eco standards, the suggestions, the estimate with Yarta help and the plan by quarter.

02

The roadmap to improvement

From your data to a better score. Five steps, every period.

A report that only measures leaves you where you were. Yarta evaluates, benchmarks, suggests, introduces the accredited help, and measures the change on the next report.

Evaluate

Your data becomes ten category scores and one Yindyamarra Score, each with the rule that produced it. The weakest categories are the ones the roadmap starts with.

Yarta

Benchmark and compare

Each category is set against the eco standards, the published industry benchmark for your sector and your own history. The gap between where you are and "at the eco standards" is the size of the opportunity.

Yarta

Suggest

The roadmap lists the suggestions that would move the score most: switch to renewable electricity, add an organics service, fix the contamination, electrify the next fleet purchase. Each one carries its estimated effect on the score.

Yarta

Book accredited help

Every suggestion can be booked. Yarta introduces a provider who holds the licence or accreditation the work requires, or you use your own. The booking is recorded against the roadmap.

Measure the change

The next report shows the category that moved, the figure behind it and who did the work. The roadmap rolls forward with the next set of suggestions.

Yarta · next period

The accreditation we require of every provider we introduce.

Yarta does not do the physical work. The provider must hold the licence or accreditation for it, checked before the introduction and recorded against the booking.

Waste & circularity

Licensed collection and recovery

An environment protection licence or registration for the activity in that state, processor certificates for every stream, and AS/NZS 5377-certified processors for e-waste.

Energy & renewables

Accredited audits and installers

Energy audits to AS/NZS 3598. Solar and battery installers accredited under the Clean Energy Council scheme (Solar Accreditation Australia). Electrical work by licensed electricians.

Buildings

NABERS and Green Star

NABERS accredited assessors for building ratings; Green Star accredited professionals where the project calls for it.

Fleet & transport

Fleet and EV advisers

Working from your own kilometres and fuel data, with charging installed by licensed electricians.

Water

Licensed and program-aligned

Licensed plumbers for works, leak-detection and irrigation specialists, and water auditors working to your utility's efficiency program.

Land, nature & Country

Landcare, bush regeneration, rangers

Landcare groups, accredited bush regenerators and Traditional Owner ranger programs, engaged and paid on their terms. Contaminated land by EPA-recognised consultants.

Carbon & governance

Independent assurance

Where assurance is needed, an independent assurance practitioner. Yarta never assures its own figures.

Funding

Grants on verified figures

Grants writers using the Yarta figures as the evidence base, so an application rests on the same numbers as the report.

Where a Recycle Group business does the work, the report says so. The estimate "with Yarta help" on your report is calculated from the published rules for each suggestion, not from a promise. The provider rules in the Yarta Method → · The eco standards →

Whole-of-organisation

Every category. Whoever supplies it.

Yarta reports the whole organisation: the electricity retailer's bill, the fuel-card statement, the water meter, every waste contractor, the planting record and the community program. Each figure is graded by the evidence behind it, wherever it came from.

1 Email a month is your part

It lists what Yarta still needs for the period, by category. You forward the bill, the statement or the contractor report, or say it does not exist. None of your suppliers ever touch Yarta, and none need to.

The rule is the same for every category: a Yarta operator enters it, the entry carries an evidence reference, and the evidence decides how much the figure counts. That is what lets one dashboard hold an energy bill, a fleet register, a kerbside contract and a revegetation program at once, and still put a number on the report that an auditor can follow back.

Evidence is graded, not assumed. A bill and a customer's say-so are both recorded. They do not carry the same weight.

The Governance score's evidence share is the share of entries backed by Grade A evidence. A Grade C entry can be upgraded at any time: send the document, the operator attaches it, and the grade moves.

Switched on in 30 days

Four weeks from first call to live dashboard.

Onboarding is scoped, not open-ended. By the end of week four your first month is entered, your dashboard is live and the first monthly email is scheduled.

Week 1

Scope and categories

Sites, the ten categories and the streams in play for your sector. Who holds which record, and where the evidence comes from.

Week 2

Baseline, targets and method sheet

The baseline year is set, your targets and the eco standards that apply are agreed, and the method sheet states how each category will be counted.

Week 3

First month entered

Your named Yarta data operator enters the first bills, statements and contractor reports. The record starts.

Week 4

Dashboard live

Every tile calculating from the record, the first score on the screen and the first roadmap drafted. The first monthly fill-in-the-gaps email is scheduled.

Proposed schedule. Subscription applies from the switch-on date.

05

What you receive

The dashboard, the report and the method behind both.

Everything on this list is built from one record, so the number on the report is the number on the dashboard is the number in the export.

  • Yarta Dashboard access. Your score, the ten categories, where you could be and the suggestions, live, across every site. Moves the month the data lands.
  • Monthly gap email and summary. What we have, what we still need, and where the month landed by category.
  • Yarta Report per period. Three pages: the score and the categories, the figures behind them, and the roadmap to improvement, with a report ID and the method version.
  • CSV and PDF exports. Every entry with its evidence reference, the carbon export by scope, and the Yarta Report as a PDF.
  • Roadmap and provider introductions. The suggestions by quarter, the estimate with Yarta help, and an accredited provider for each one you choose to book.
  • A named Yarta data operator. One person who enters your records, answers the gap email and signs off the month with their initials.

The principle

Your data in. Your results out. Then the roadmap.

If customers typed in their own figures, no report built on them would be credible. So they do not. Your part of the loop is to enter the figures you already hold once a month. Yarta does the rest, and the roadmap tells you what to do next.
